Govt Seeks Rp2.5tn Proceeds from Sukuk Auction

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government is planning to auction several series of sharia state securities (sukuk/SBSN) on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. From the auction, the government is targeting Rp2.5 trillion proceeds, which will be used to meet some of 2015 State Budget's financing targets.
There will be four sukuk series auctioned: the PBS006 (reopening) with 8.25 percent yield, maturing onSeptember 5 2020; the PBS008 (reopening) with 7.0 percent yield that matures on June 15, 2016; the PBS009 (reopening) with 7.75% yield maturing on January 25, 2018; and the SPN-S 05022016 (reopening) with a discounted yield that matures on February 5, 2016.
The open auction will be held by Bank Indonesia (BI) with a multiple price method. It opens on August 25, 2015 at 10:00 am and ends at 12.00 the same day.
The auction result will also be announced on the same day at 15:30 local time. The settlements will be held on August 27, or two working days after the date of the auction (T+2).
