TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Communications and Informatics Ministry is planning to integrate all emergency call services to the 112 call center in cooperation with the Bandung city government on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
"The central government through the Communications and Informatics Ministry will launch an emergency 112 [call center] nationwide," said Aos W. Bintang, Chief of the Bandung City Communications and Informatics agency.
Aos said that Bandung, which has been considered as a metropolitan city, was given the chance to become one of the cities to test the 112 emergency call services. "[The service] will be tested in Bandung and 10 other cities," said Aos.
