TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Thursday will be inaugurating and oath-taking hundreds of the National Armed Forces (TNI) and Police officers at Bhayangkara Police Academy, Semarang.
Head of Information Center Major General Fuad Basya said those who will be inaugurated are officers that have undergo a four-year education in their academy. “They will be given the rank of officer,” Fuad said Tuesday, July 28.
Armed Forces personnels will be given a second lieutenant rank, while police personnels will be given a second inspector rank. A total of 693 officers will attend the inauguration and oath-taking comprising 215 military academy officers, 100 naval academy officers, 89 air force academy and 389 police academy officers.
An Adhi Makayasa award will be given to officers with the best achievement during their education. They are Sec.Lieutenant Infantry Angger Panduyudha (army), Sec.Lieutenant Adhyaksa Yudistira (air force), Sec.Lieutenant Dua Dito Sigit (navy) and Sec.Inspector Fauzi Pratama.
