TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Thirty British business leaders incorporated in the UK-ASEAN Business Council is scheduled to meet with President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo.
The meeting will be held on the sidelines of British PM David Cameron's two-day work visit to Indonesia in an attempt to strengthen economic cooperation between Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
During a press briefing on Sunday, July 26, 2015, British Ambassador to Indonesia Moazzam Malik said that British businesses noticed President Jokowi's ambitions on improving infrastructure development and Public and Private Partnership (PPP).
According to Moazzam, David Cameron is scheduled to be in Indonesia for two days on July 27 to July 28, 2015.
Among the 30 British business leaders scheduled to meet with President Jokowi are ACE Winches, Airbus Group UK, Arup, AT Engine Controls, Atkins, Aviva, Bango, Benoy, Blockchain, Concrete Canvas, Darktrace, EarthPort, FreshMinds, Heraeus Noblelight and Iwoca.
In addition, representatives from JCB, Jardines, Laing ORourke, Lloyds of London, Oxford Products, Pennies, Qubit, RateSetter, RepKnight, Rolls-Royce, Surrey Satellite Technology, The Floow, UK Higher Education International Unit, Weir Group and Wessington Cryogenics are also scheduled to meet with the President.
