TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Campos Racing driver Rio Haryanto secured second place by recording 1:29.552 in GP2 free practice at Hungaroring circuit, Budapest, Hungary, on Friday, Rio’s Media Relation Cep Goldia reported to Antaranews. Rio was 0.415 second behind ART Grand Prix racer Stoffel Vandoome who finished first.
The free practice for the sixth GP2 series run under fair weather with 58 percent humidity. Feature race and sprint race sessions will run on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 to 26.
Up until the fifth serie in England, Rio Haryanto remains at the third in the standing with 91 total points. First place still occupied by Stoffel Vandoome (179 points) and followed by Alexander Rossi (105 points) at the second place.
Indonesian Ambassador in England and Hungary showed their support to the Indonesia racer in his last two races.
