Soekarno-Hatta to Experience Passenger Surge on Saturday

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is expected to see a surge in the number of passengers returning to the capital from their hometown on July 25, and July 26, 2015. The estimation was made following a meeting between airport management company PT Angkasa Pura II and respective stakeholders on July 19, 2015.
To anticipate the increasing number of passenger, Angkasa Pura II Director Budi Karya Sumadi, said that the company will provide additional facilities, including easy access to public transportation, quick baggage processing, and trolleys.
"The improved services is also part of [Angkasa Pura II] effort to make the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport into a 'smile airport'," Budi said on Wednseday, July 22, 2015.
To provide better public transportation access, Angkasa Pura II will prepare 1,400 additional airport taxis, 20 additional buses, and additional shuttle buses to transport passengers between terminals. Meanwhile, to improve baggage handling service, the company will provide 200 additional ground staffs.
