TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As usual, the Eid eve (takbiran) celebration, Eid Prayers, and household activities always leaving an abundant of garbage in South Jakarta. Since today, recorded as many as 1,500 tons of trash transported from the area.
"This amount has decreased around 80 percent than normal day because most of residents are going home," told Waste Management Head of South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Zaenudin, Tuesday (7/21).
He uttered, the biggest trash volume are generated from Kebayoran Lama Market, Pasar Minggu, Pancoran, Blok A Market, Pondok Labu Market, and Gandaria Utara Depot.
During joint leave of Eid, according to him, his side deployed 600 Freelancers (PHL) to clean trash, especially worship place, main road, and other community centers.
