TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A source at Foxcoon reveals that Apple will not make 16GB version available for next generation of iPhone, Phone Arena reported. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are reportedly only available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB memory.
Despite of Apple’s claim that iOS physical size is very efficient, 20 percent of the internal memory is in fact taken up by the system operation, leaving only 13GB free on 16GB version.
With trending music and video applications that demand big space every year, bigger space is sought after. It is possible that Apple follows Samsung who has presented larger space on its high-end devices.
However, specifications for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be revealed in the official release of both devices in September.
