TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali is dominated by the influx of domestic and international passengers instead of people arriving or departing for the annual homecoming.
"Data showed increased number of passengers arrived [in Bali] during the Eid homecoming. This is because Bali becomes a tourist destination during the long holidays," said Trikora Harjo, General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I for I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on Wednesday, July 15, 2015.
Tourists can be seen arriving in the airport since three days before Eid al-Fitr, totaling to 14,435 passengers from 105 aircraft.
Angkasa Pura I recorded a five percent increase in the number of international passengers compared to the same period last year.
