Pertalite to be Sold in 103 Gas Stations

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned oil and gas operator PT Pertamina is planning to sell its new product, Pertalite fuel, in 103 gas stations in Indonesia during the market test stage before the launching of the product after Eid al-Fitr this year.
"As part of the market text, we’re going to sell it in 103 gas station, including in Cipali toll road,” said Pertamina Trade and Marketing Director Ahmad Bambang in Jakarta on Friday (10/7).
After the market test stage, he said that Pertamina would sell the fuel to other expand the selling of Pertalite to other gas stations in major cities in Indonesia. Afterwards, he said that Pertamina will do the next stage, that is national product campaign.
Ahmad further said that during the market test stage, Pertamina would sell a total of 500 kiloliter per day in 103 gas stations.
However, he did not mention the price of Pertalite; however, he said that the price would be below the price of Pertamax and above the price of Premium. He also said that Pertamina expects to sell Pertalite all over Indonesia by the end of 2015.
