TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, has made preparation to anticipate the increasing number of travelers on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road for Eid al-Fitr by producing fuel packages, one to two liters of Pertamax fuel. "Travelers can use these packages as spares on the road," said Jumali, Region three General Marketing Manager for Pertamina.
Jumali added that in anticipation for the increase in demand for fuel, Pertamina is focusing on building more gas stations along the Cipali toll road. "Pertamina is building gas stations in six rest areas and they will be ready by July 5, 2015," Jumali said.
Jumali also stated that during Eid al-Fitr the demand for different types of fuel changes dramatically. "At the peak of the homecoming season, the demand for Premium increases by 30 percent, and it is predicted that the demand for Solar [subsidized diesel fuel] is predicted to decrease by 80 percent," Jumali said. Jumali added that fuel trucks to anticipate increasing demand.
