Exports Down in April

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The decline of mineral fuel exports in April 2015 caused Indonesia's exports value in general to weaken as well.
April exports stood at only US$13.08 billion, down 4.04 percent compared to March 2015, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).
On a year-on-year (yoy) basis, the exports value had declined by 8.46 percent from April 2014's.
Non-oil exports for the month amounted to US$11.63 billion, down 0.17 percent from the previous month and slipping 0.13 percent yoy.
Meanwhile, oil and gas exports value stood at US$1.45 billion, down 26.68 percent from March 2015. Compared to the same period last year, the decline is even bigger at 45 percent.
