TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama is scheduled for a number of activities on Thursday, June 4, 2015. Ahok kicked off his day with a meeting on the Ragunan Zoo at 08:30 a.m.
At 10 a.m., Ahok joined another meeting with the capital’s Land Issues Management Team and will attend a dengue fever prevention event after lunch.
Ahok is also slated to meet with the caretakers of the Effatha Protestant Church of Western Indonesia (GPIB) at 3 p.m. and for an interview with Bisnis Indonesia newspaper at 4 p.m.
At 7 p.m., Ahok will attend the commemoration of the US Independence Day at the residence of the US Ambassador to Indonesia.
Deputy Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat, meanwhile, opened the launch event of the book Revolusi Mental: Makna dan Realisasi (Mental Revolution: Meaning and Realization) at the Energy Building, SCBD, in the Sudirman area.
At 11 a.m., Djarot is scheduled to represent the Jakarta governor to meet with Jaya Suprana Institute to discuss the latter’s support to accelerate the e-government system at the Jakarta Administration—the city government’s latest bid to reorganize and improve its financial management.
