TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A massive clash between residents of Manggarai had just occurred in Jalan Tambak, Central Jakarta. The clash that occurred at around 12:00pm lasted for approximately two hours.
The police had to disperse the riot by firing tear gas. Until now, the cause of the clash is still under investigation. As a result, the operation of TransJakarta buses through the area was disrupted.
TransJakarta buses that have to go through the corridor IV lane, which is the Pulogadung-Dukuh Atas route, must took a detour to Jalan Latuharhari to proceed its operation.
Through Transjakarta’s Twitter account, @BLUTransjakarta, the transportation company informed that the situation in the corridor IV lane has now return to normal. "The buses going through corridor IV is now back to normal," they tweeted, on Sunday, November 30, 2014.
