SBY Passes on MP3EI to Jokowi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono passed on the Indonesia Economic Devlopment Acceleration Masterplan (MP3EI) to president-elect Joko Widodo, saying that MP3EI can be achieved in 2025.
SBY added that with 11 years remaining on its scheduled implementation, MP3EI might just achieve its target. SBY later claimed that MP3EI has made several achievements in terms of economic acceleration and expansion.
SBY also delivered his gratitude to all parties that have helped to fund MP3EI programs. MP3EI programs were funded by the private sector (40 percent), state-owned enterprises (25 percent), the government (15 percent), and other resources (20 percent).
Previously, Coordinating Minister of Economy Chairul Tanjung, claimed that within the last three years, MP3EI has managed to yield decent results, including 383 groundbreaking projects worth Rp 863.5 trillion.
