TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Himax Indonesia will soon release its latest smartphone, the Himax Polymer Octa Core, by the end of August. It claimed to own high specs but with low cost.

Generally, the latest type has the same spec as its predecessor, the Himax Pure III Octa Core, such as a Mediatek MT6592 Real Octa Core 1.7Ghz, 2GB RAM, 13MP Sony Sensor camera with a 5-inch Gorilla Glass 2 screen.

Based on the information received by ANTARA News earlier today, the Himax Polymer will have retail price of Rp1 million. The price is cheaper than any other smartphone vendors with octa core processors, which is above Rp3 million.

Himax made its entrance in Indonesia in the early 2013. It offers products with low prices but has high specs products.

Unlike other vendors, Himax focuses on the e-commerce market that is becoming a shopping trend in the Indonesian community today.

Similar to the previous, the latest Himax product launching will be done online through the official website www.himax.co.id.
