Mexico Captures 39 Illegal Immigrants Heading for the US

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Local police and the Federal Army of Mexico managed to save 39 Central American immigrants in the United States bordering area of Tamaulipas last Monday.
According to the report by Reuters, 19 of the immigrants are Honduran while the others are from El Salvador (13 people) and Guatemala (seven people).
The group of immigrants, which included 16 children and 7 women, were found in Altamira, North of Tampico harbor. The authorities said that they also found US$ 520 of cash in Guatemala and Honduras currencies.
For the past few months, Mexico, Central America and United States officials have struggled to stop wave of immigrants including thousands of children without guardians who are trying to cross into the United States of America.
