TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of State-owned Enterprises (BUMN), Dahlan Iskan, gave appreciation to the dedicated artists of the ex-residence of Madiun on the Traditional Art Performance Night in Lapangan Gulun, Kejuron, Madiun, East Java, Sunday.
"The people who receives this award are artists that are dedicated in their field. The awards were given based on the points given by competent artists of their field. So I'm not the jury," said the minister as quoted by Antara News.
The show was held from 20:00 pm to 22:00 pm local time, and the artists received the awards accompanied by their head of province.
The award winners were: The song writer of Hymne Guru (The Teacher's Hymn), Sartono, from Madiun; comedian and Ludruk artist, Muhammad Sakirun (Kirun), from Madiun district; and the last was Yorgen Hendrik, from Ngawi district.
The award was also given to a Javanese artist, Didi Kempot, which launched his new single Prapatan Sleko in the event
Besides launching his new single, Didi Kempot also entertained the people of Madiun city with his other popular songs, such as Sewu Kutho and Stasiun Balapan.
