Pacers Claim Top Spot After Defeating Magic

    TEMPO.CO, Indianapolis - Indiana Pacers claimed their position at the top of the NBA east standings as the team won 79-98 against Orlando Magic at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, February 4, 2014.

    Danny Granger was the leading scorer in the match with 16 points, followed by Paul George and Lance Stephenson with 15 points each. Orlando Magic's Arron Affalo gained the highest score with 20 points followed by Nikola Vucevic with 16 points.

    Pacers managed to dominate the match since the first quarter. Roy Hibbert was the first to score. As the first quarter ends, the home team led by 22-29.

    Granger and his teammates continued their dominance in the second quarter and left Magic beahind with a 16 points lead. The score gap was narrowing to 9 points as the match reached the end of the second quarter. With a great defense performance, Pacers managed to block most of Magic's effort to score in the third and the fourth quarters.
