TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Fitri Ainun Nazara stormed her brain in order to find a way to have stylish shoes without spending too much money on various type of shoes. The student of SMA Negeri 6 Yogyakarta has then made her own dream shoes.

Her simple and stylish self-designed shoes were not only making her look stylish, but the shoes were also showcased in the Sixth National Young Inventor Award exhibition in the Indonesian Academy of Science. "I am so happy to be able to participate in the exhibition," said Fitri to Tempo yesterday. "The shoes are simple; I made them with only Rp350,000 and they can make three models. If you buy three pairs of stylish shoes, your spending can reach up to Rp1 million."

Fitri's shoes are made of dark blue canvas with a slipper model and a Velcro adhesive layer is uniquely added to the base part of the shoes to attach additional heels. This makes the 3-in-1 shoes to have adjustable soles. Fitri provides the additional heels in three sizes: 3 cm, 5 cm and 7 cm.

"It is like wedges with self-adjustable heels' thickness," said the girl who wants to make more shoes in more various colors. Despite using only adhesive to attach the heels, the shoes are strong and durable.
