TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, held a an exhibition entitled 'War is Over (if you want it)' in Australia. The title referred to Ono and Lennon's campaign in 1969, when they rented advertising board in various towns to deliver peace message during Christmas.
Yoko exhibited various mixed-object from statues to chess board, all in white. The exhibition begins today, November 15, 2013 to February 2014. Ono said that the exhibition was designed to collaborate with the audience for world peace.
In addition to the exhibition, Ono also wages her campaign through social media. Using her twitter account, she uploaded Lennon's blood-stained glasses, which he wore when he was killed in 1980. The picture was meant as a campaign against weapon-violence, which escalated in 2013.
