TEMPO.CO, New South Wales – Australian firefighters are preparing to face the worst situation within the next few days as heat waves and strong winds are expected to kindle the forest fires that have been occurring in several areas of the country.
BBC webpage reported on Monday, October 21, that the fire that hit New South Wales had destroyed 200 houses. As a result, hundreds of people lost their home and are forced to evacuate. Meanwhile, one person was reported dead.
Although the weather has improved in the last couple of days, observers predicted that even hotter heat waves will continue to occur. In addition, temperature is predicted to reach 30 degree Centigrade.
