TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Charlie Hunnam stepped out of the most anticipated novel-based drama movie Fifty Shades of Grey. Entertainment Weekly quoted the 33-year-old hunky Hollywood starlet stating he realized that many of the novel fans were against him playing the movie central, Christian Grey.
"There are so many fans of that book and I know that on the surface, I am probably not what everybody imagined," said Hunnam.
Fifty Shades of Grey tells a story of a young and athletic-built businessman Christian Grey, and a college student Anastasia Steele. The relation between the two central characters starts with a sexual drive, but eventually ends up with love.
Several other Hollywood actors, who were previously rumored to cast as Christian Grey prior to Hunnam, started to rise on speculation namely Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Matt Bomer, Chris Pine, and Garrett Hedlund. Meanwhile, the cast of Anastasia Steele went to 21 Jump Street’s Dakota Johnson (24), daughter of Hollywood actor Don Johnson and actress Melanie Griffith.
