TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs facilitates three journalists from Latin America to visit Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta in October 4 to October 9, 2013.
"[The visit] is a part of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) program to improve Indonesia's relations with Latin America," Dewi M. Kusumastuti, Director of America Europe Intraregional Cooperation at the Ministry said on Saturday, October 5.
The three journalists are Daniela Marcella from Paula Magazine, Chile; David Hector from Cayaurimia 96,5 FM, Venezuela; and Walter Enrique, a television journalist from Costa Rica.
Dewi explained that Indonesia and Latin America have established simlar bilateral relations. However, she hoped that the visit will allow both countries to get better acquainted as two groups of society meet with each other.
