Daihatsu Launches New Variants of Ayla

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) has launched a new variant of the Ayla low-cost green car (LCGC) series, the Ayla M Sport and X Elegant. The two newly launched variants are tagged with a higher price compared to the previous Ayla.

"We are optimistic that Ayla will become a new trend. We will keep developing low-cost green car," said Sudirman, ADM CEO.

The Ayla M Sporty introduces several new features for both the car's exterior and interior. The M Sporty variant comes with a sporty front aero kit, rear parking sensor, alloy rims, and chrome ornament. The car is sold at a relatively affordable price of Rp 104,250,000 (around US$9,240) for manual transmission and Rp 113,450,000 (around US$10,055) for automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, the Ayla X Elegant, comes equipped with a sophisticated-look features like the extension rear reflector, elegant front and rear aero kit, and side skirts. Ayla X Elegant will be sold at Rp 105,100,000 (around US$9,315) for manual transmission and Rp 114,150,000 (around US$10,117) for automatic transmission.
