TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Facebook proved its excellent performance of its mobile ads at the second quarter of 2013. Facebook's management claimed that mobile ads have contributed over 41 percent of the company's total ad revenue.
"The growth of mobile ads is four time faster than desktop ads," Techcrunch cited. Facebook total ad revenue has reached US$1,60 billion, with its desktop ad contributing US$ 944 million.
With the growth of mobile ads that could reach up to 9 percent per quarter, Facebook will have an equal mobile and desktop division income in the third quarter. Nonetheless, mobile services have becoming more essential as the number of gadget users continue to increase.
