TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Public Works Ministry has received the lowest rank in the survey conducted by the Indonesian Ombudsman on public services compliance announced on Monday, July 22. The ombudsman evaluated 18 ministries engaging in public services and focused on their permit processing units.
"The Public Works Ministry received a score of 285 out of the maximum score of 1000," said Danang Girindrawardana, chairman of the Indonesian Ombudsman at the Ombudsman building in Kuningan on Monday, July 22. The survey was conducted in Public Services Units which are under the direct supervision of the ministry in Jakarta.
Other ministries which did not receive good scores in the survey included the Agriculture Ministry, the Transmigration and Labor Ministry, Social Affairs Ministry, and the Culture and Education Ministry.
