TEMPO.CO, Banyuwangi - Prabowo Subianto, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Gerindra Party, said he would dismiss Totok Sugiarto, a Gerindra Banyuwangi politician who was arrested for using crystal meth on Thursday, June 27.
"Will we fire (him)," Prabowo said after opening the training for female farmers in Banyuwangi, East Java on Sunday, June 30.
To prevent a similar incident from happening again, Prabowo said the party will conduct urine tests on all of its cadres. However, he cannot say when the urine test will be done. "We are scheduling it," he said.
Totok is the Honorary Vice Chairman of the Council as well as the Gerindra Banyuwangi branch's First Vice Chairman.
