TEMPO.CO, California - Google renewed the Google Earth for iOS and Android-based gadgets by providing Street view on smartphones and tablets.
The application will present the view of up to 100 new countries with 3D display. The renewal also includes additional connections to Wikipedia information and Panoramio, the Google's photo sharing application.
The renewal has been available since a several weeks after the web rumors during the Google I/O 2013 Developers Conference in San Francisco on mid of May this year.
Haris Ramic, Google Earth Product Manager said during a press conference, "With Street View of Google Earth on cell phones, you can explore many places from the gadget and with the new display, just click on Google Earth's Logo at the top left. You can get fast access to further information from Wikipedia and Panoramio. If you plan to visit a place, Google Earth has improved directions that enable you to visualize the transit steps, walking and cycling directions in full 3D view."
The renewal is available on iTunes and Google Play for iOS and Android-based gadgets.
