TEMPO.CO, London - Out of the blue, a violinist from the band Raven Quarter jumped off to the front stage and threw eggs to Simon Cowell, one of the judges during a live final performance of Britain's Got Talent last night.

Simon looked startled while three other juries managed to escape from the egg invasion. He didn’t realize he was the target of the attack.

In a statement released by the show, the violinist said she wanted to apologize not to Simon, but to Richard and Adam, her brothers, who were on the same stage. "Iwant to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do," she said.

In the meantime, Simon said that he thought what she did, throwing sandwiches as he thought it was, was merely a part of the performance. He went on with the show, without wearing a jacket.
