TEMPO.CO, London – The soldier who was recently murdered by two assailants claiming to be moslem extremist was finally identified as Lee Rigby from the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers.
Rigby (25), from Manchester, died leaving a 2-year-old son. His family said that he was a nice and friendly guy. "Lee would do anything for anybody, he always looked after his sisters and always protected them. He took a 'big brother' role with everyone," said a a member of his family.
Rigby joined the army in 2006, and was described as "a loving father to his son, Jack" and "a person that will be missed by everyone that knows him".
Two suspects were arrested following the incident, one of them was known as Michael Adebolajo, a supporter for hard-line Islamic movement.
