TEMPO.COWashington – On Wednesday (17/4), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) claimed to have arrested Paul Kevin Curtis from Mississippi, believed to be responsible of sending letters containing ricin to President Barack Obama, Senator Richard Shelby from Alabama, dan another government official.

According to FBI statement, the three letters contained granular substance known to be ricin poison, putting Obama’s office, the White House, and Capitol Hill in alert.

Federal government then conducted further investigation to the letters addressed to Obama and Senator Richard Shelby, also to other senators admitting to have received suspicious letters.
