Obama Receives Poisonous Letter

TEMPO.CO, Washington – A letter addressed to US President Barack Obama is suspected to contain ricin, a highly toxic compound that can kill a person within 36 hours .

The letter was intercepted just an office away from the White House on Wednesday (17/4) and currently being analyzed.

The Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI) stated the letter is similar to a poisoned letter sent to Senator Richard Shelby from Alabama right after the Boston bombing incident occurred.

The FBI also discovers a suspicious package in Shelby’s office and currently investigating it.
