TEMPO.CO, Washington – During a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday, April 14 2013, United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, stated that Washington is ready to be involved in a discussion regarding nuclear weapons with North Korea.
“We are ready (for a dialogue), but we need certainty,” Kerry stated to reporters in Tokyo.
In a separate meeting with Japanese students, Kerry explained that the United States and Japan are working hand in hand in facing North Korea.
“One thing that must be noted, we are united. There is no confusion in the issue. North Korea’s missile program is deangerous and threatens not only it’s neighbors, but also its own people,’ said Kerry.
