No Chance of Rain in Jakarta Today, BMKG Says

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG forecasts no rain potential in Jakarta today, Monday, August 12, 2024. Sunny, cloudy, and partly cloudy skies will alternate throughout the day, the BMKG weather forecast says.
Today’s highest maximum air temperature is 31 degrees Celsius in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Some areas will reach the maximum temperature today while the skies are covered in thick clouds.
BMKG also noted that Seribu Islands will reach its maximum temperature around the afternoon to midnight.
Here is the detailed weather forecast for Jakarta today as released by BMKG:
- The Seribu Islands are sunny, cloudy, and partly cloudy throughout the day. The maximum air temperature is 28 degrees Celsius with expected occurrence at 03:00 p.m. Jakarta time to midnight.
- Similar weather is expected in West Jakarta and Central Jakarta. However, West Jakarta recorded a slightly high temperature at 31 degrees Celsius that will occur in midday. On the other hand, Central Jakarta has a maximum air temperature of 31 degrees Celsius
- South Jakarta and East Jakarta are dominated by partly cloudy and cloudy weather until the afternoon. With brief sunny weather, the maximum air temperature of 31 degrees Celsius is expected to occur from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. Jakarta time for both regions.
- North Jakarta is sunny, cloudy, and partly cloudy all day today. BMKG reported the maximum temperature in this part of Jakarta is 29 degrees and will occur in the morning and throughout the afternoon.
