Bali United Introduces 32 Players for 2024-2025 League 1 Competition

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali United introduced 32 players who are included in the main squad to compete in the League 1 season 2024-2025.

Most of the players are filled with new faces, including three of them young players coached by Bali United Youth who received promotion to the senior team, namely I Wayan Arta Wiguna, Kadek Lanang Agus Surya Artayana and Nathan Ari Pramana.

A total of 32 players were introduced to representatives of supporters and media representatives at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Regency.

Meanwhile, Bali United Head Coach Stefano Cugurra added that the players, including new players, had undergone their first training at the Bali United Training Center at Purnama Beach, Gianyar Regency. There is also the main material in the training, namely physical, then continued with tactical and technical training which is focused on the match.

Currently, he continued, old players and new players need time to build compatibility (chemistry) between players formed in training.

"They need time to have chemistry but they work hard in every practice and they want to improve themselves and we improve the team," said the Brazilian coach.

So far, Bali United has added six new players, namely two national players, namely Fitrul Dwi Rustapa, Bagas Adi Nugroho, as well as four foreign players, namely Mitsuru Maruoka, Kenzo Nambu, Brandon Wilson and finally Everton Nascimento.

The foreign player adds to the composition of three old foreign players who still survive, namely Adilson Maringa, Privat Mbarga, and Elias Dolah.

The new squad will be prepared to face the 2024/2025 Indonesian League 1 season which starts on August 9, 2024 with a total of 34 matches.

On that occasion, Bali United management also gave appreciation to senior player Fadil Sausu in the form of giving an 18-carat gold pin with the Serdadu Tridatu logo.

The midfielder with jersey number 14 is considered a Bali United legend for being the first team to join in 2015 when the club was first formed on the Island of the Gods or a total of nine seasons of competition together.

Currently, the 39-year-old senior player has joined Gresik United to compete in the Indonesian League 2.
