IKAPI Holds Indonesia International Book Fair This Weekend

TEMPO.CO, JakartaIn this weekend’s agenda, Tempo English has compiled three events scheduled to be held from September 30 to October 1, 2023. Those include the highlight, Indonesia International Book Fair in ICE BSD, Solo Batik Music Festival, and SEMASA at Ideafeat 2023.

Check out the detailed list below for this weekend's agenda:

1. Indonesia International Book Fair

Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) is an annual book exhibition organized by the Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI). This year, the event is taking place at Hall 1, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang Regency from September 27 to October 1, 2023. South Korea has become the Guest of Honor country at IIBF 2023.

IIBF is a meeting point, a strategic and prestigious event for exhibitors to promote literature, art, culture, and all other creative content, through rights licensing and other means of cooperation. IIBF invites more than 100 speakers and holds 50 series of events throughout the fair.

2. Solo Batik Music Festival

To commemorate National Batik Day, Surakarta will hold the Solo Batik Music Festival from September 30 to October 2, 2023, at Pamedan Mangkunegaran Field in Surakarta. The three-day event will begin each day at 02:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. WIB,

The detailed schedule of the performers for the festival is as follows:

Day 1: Roy Jeconiah, Samalona, Silampukau

Day 2: Sri Krisna n Friends, Chappy Hakim and The Playsets, Diskoria

Day 3: Genk Kobra, Idgitaf, Vina Panduwinata feat Cadenza Orchestra

3. SEMASA at Ideafest 2023

SEMASA is part of Ideafest, the biggest festival in the creative industry, connecting and empowering creative communities to grow. The event started today, September 29 to October 1, 2023, at Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. Tickets to SEMASA are free of charge.

SEMASA will be curating the most shout-out art and FnB brands. Aside from selling goods in the bazaar, every brand will showcase their products with the best presentation; be it from booth design, food presentation, or service skills, as well as their limited products launched only at IdeaFest 2023.
