Jakarta Inks Regional Budget at Rp79.5 trillion

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta legislative council (DPRD Jakarta) inked the Regional Regulation concerning the new Jakarta Regional Budget amounting to Rp79,529,868,233,537 trillion on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Member of DPRD Jakarta's Budget Committee Bambang Kusumanto provided detailed a number of budgeting drafted based on the general budget policies-provisional budget priorities and funding levels (KUPA-PPAS) by the regional government's budgeting team.
The agreed Regional Revenue posture was at Rp70.6 trillion from the previous Rp74.3 trillion, while the Regional Expenditure posture was reduced from Rp74.6 trillion to Rp72.1 trillion.
Meanwhile, the Regional Financing was reduced to Rp8.8 trillion from the previously drafted Rp9.4 trillion. The number was based on the adapted unspent funds (SiLPA) posture amounted to Rp8.6 trillion and the Regional Loan Revenue of Rp295 billion.
The 2023 Regional Financing Expenditure posture adapted from Rp9.1 trillion to Rp8 trillion. Regional Investment was reduced to Rp5.4 trillion from Rp7.2 trillion, and the Principal Repayment at Rp1.8 trillion.
"Therefore, the new Regional Budget of 2023 decreased from Rp83.7 trillion to Rp79.5 trillion," Bambang concluded.
