Tokopedia's CMO Named in Top 50 APAC's Most Influential Marketer List
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tokopedia's Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Mintaraga is listed in Campaign Asia’s 50 Most Influential Marketers in Asia-Pacific Power List 2023. Mintaraga is nominated for the fourth consecutive year, after recently making it to Fortune Indonesia's 40 under 40.
Mintaraga played an instrumental part in accelerating Tokopedia’s profitability. In the past 12 months, Mintaraga and the team worked hard to launch Tokopedia Marketing Solutions.
According to Tokopedia's data, this effort has gained a 17-fold increase in advertising investment value in just the first semester of 2022, and a 30-fold spike in the number of strategic partners from medium to large-scale sellers in the same period.
Mintaraga also successfully launched the Tokopedia Affiliates program. This program has enabled many Indonesians to become influencers by promoting products on Tokopedia through affiliate links. In addition, affiliates get paid a commission of up to 10% or a maximum of US$ 3.4 whenever a product gets sold from the affiliate link.
The past year has also seen Mintaraga strengthen Tokopedia's ties with its merchants through the Merchant Partnership Program. The initiative has helped sellers grow their sales compared to the average sellers of the same categories on Tokopedia.
Mintaraga’s success is also shared with other CMOs such as Mayora Indah Tbk’s Ricky Afrianto, Danone’s Sri Widowati, Cathay Pacific’s Edward Bell, Disney’s Jessica Beaton, and many other Asia-Pacific powerhouses.
