TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The international book fair, Big Bad Wolf Books or BBW, will return this year on May 26 - June 5, at Hall 3-3A of ICE BSD City, South Tangerang. The free-entrance event will be open from 09:00-24:00.
President Director of Big Bad Wolf Indonesia, Uli Silalahi, said this year’s BBW theme is #BACAITUKEREN (reading is cool). He said that BBW aims to make reading a fun lifestyle.
"It’s the moment to make reading an inseparable part of our modern life and a quality time with the family," he said in a Big Bad Wolf press conference in Jakarta on Friday, May 19, as quoted from Antara.
Uli said this year, BBW would present new books with various genres for all age ranges. There will be quality imported books for children that could be an inspiration and the best education for children.
The book fair will offer daily competition with a total prize of more than Rp7.5 million and the main prize of 1 shopping cart full of books. Other offers include special book prices and daily flash sales.
In addition to the offline event at ICE BSD City, BBW Jakarta 2023 will also be available online on Tokopedia and Blibli e-commerce on the same dates, May 26–June 5.
Big Bad Wolf 2023 will tour six cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, and the sixth city will be a surprise additional tour destination.
