TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, responded to the high public interest towards the Coldplay concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on November 15, 2023. Seeing the huge public interest in this concert, Sandiaga admitted that he was working on getting Coldplay to add to their concert schedule in Indonesia.
"For Coldplay fans, please be patient. We're attempting to make them not only have a one-day concert, but more. At least add one more day. Do you agree?" He said on his Instagram account @sandiuno on Thursday, May 18.
He further said that he was thrilled to see the growth of this industry in Indonesia. Sandiaga viewed that this condition will lead to more business opportunities and jobs for the creative industry.

He also shared his experience hunting for a Coldplay's Music of the Spheres concert ticket. Sandiaga admitted that did not get the pre-sale ticket on Wednesday, May 17.
"It is even hard for me to buy [the tickets] for my family, really, no joking!" Sandiaga said.
He denied an issue saying that he gives out Coldplay concert tickets, asking the public to be more careful if any party on his behalf offered the ticket. "That's not true! How can I give people [the tickets], my child doesn't even get a ticket yet," said Sandiaga.
