According to police investigators, the murder happened after the victim and suspects were involved in an argument as they were playing cards at the victim’s house. According to the Police, The argument was caused by a miscommunication.
“There were misunderstandings between the victim and suspect. Foul words and insults were traded in English between them,” said Bambang in a press conference held in Denpasar, Bali on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, as reported by state-news agency Antara.
According to Yugo, the two suspects not only killed Fitran but also physically attacked another Indian national in Rajesh Sheen (40), who was found sitting on the side of the road with his head tied with a bloody piece of cloth.
