TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia, in tandem with the Immigration Directorate General of the Law and Human Rights Ministry, presented a special lane service at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, and the International Terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali
Garuda Director Irfan Setiaputra said that the service is a form of the airline's commitment to contribute to national economic recovery. “Especially to the tourism sector through various initiatives and strategic synergies with tourism stakeholders,” he said in a written statement on Thursday, March 30.
In this collaboration, all first class, business class, and GarudaMiles Platinum members, especially international route passengers, will receive added value in the form of an integrated seamless travel experience, especially in the pre-flight and post-flight processes through a faster immigration check.
“The collaboration of this special route service is hoped to be an improvement in services that are increasingly seamless and add convenience to users and foreign tourists,” Irfan added.
He further appreciated the Directorate General of Immigration for the partnership and support that bring added-value service to passengers, “particularly, on our two touch points, namely the pre-flight and post-flight processes.”
Immigration Director-General Silmy Karim, meanwhile, said Garuda Indonesia and the Immigration DG will disseminate various types of visas for foreigners, starting from tourist visit visas, electronic visas on arrival, and pre-investment visas. “And in the near future, we will launch a Golden Visa for foreigners,” Silmy explained.
