TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati along with Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono monitored the development of the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulon Progo Toll Road project in Klaten and Boyolali, Monday, February 27, 2023.
The 96.57-kilometer-long toll road project has a total investment value of Rp27.8 trillion. Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Klaten Regent Sri Mulyani, Boyolali Deputy Regent Wahyu Irawan, Karanganyar Regent Juliyatmono, and Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka accompanied the two ministers during the inspection.
The officials also met with a number of residents who received compensation for the land used in the project construction of the toll road. The dialogue was held at the PT Adhi Karya Office in Colomadu, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java.
Minister Sri stated that the field inspection was aimed at seeing the progress of one of the national strategic projects.
"We all know that these national strategic programs or PSN bring extraordinary impacts on society," said the Minister during the press conference session.
Minister Sri Mulyani emphasized that the Ministry of Finance as the manager of the state budget is committed to supporting the completion of national strategic projects that play a vital role in people’s welfare and economy.
The inspection of the construction of the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulon Progo Toll Road on Monday afternoon included the project’s section 1 phase 1.1 of Solo-Klaten which is 22.3 kilometers long road and phase 1.2 of the 20.08-kilometer-long Klaten-Purwomartani toll road. "All of this is expected to be completed in December this year," said Minister Sri.
