KPK Seizes Evidence from Jakarta DPRD Building in Pulogebang Graft Case

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that investigators have completed the search at Jakarta Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) Building related to the land procurement corruption case in Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta.
Ali Fikri, the anti-graft body’s head of media affairs said his side confiscated pieces of evidence from the search.
He explained that six rooms were searched by the team, including the leaders’ office on the 10th floor, office rooms on the 8th floor, office rooms on the 4th floor, and office rooms on the 2nd floor.
“The team of investigators also conducted a search at the staff’s office of Commission C,” said Ali at the KPK Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
Ali added that the team also probed a number of offices of the council's factions, namely PDIP, Gerindra, Golkar, and PKS.
As a result, the team discovered pieces of evidence related to the alleged corruption case in the land procurement for the zero down-payment housing program which might cause state losses of up to billions of rupiah.
Even though initial evidence had been collected, the KPK would not yet announce the suspects.
