TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Manpower is exploring the possibility to establish cooperation in the field of employment with Palestine.

This discussion was carried out by the Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah during a bilateral meeting with the Palestinian Minister of Transportation Nasri Abu Jaish on the sidelines of the International Labor Organization (ILO) event in Singapore on Wednesday, 7 December.

"Indonesia would like to invite bilateral cooperation in the employment sector, including in the form of manpower placement, apprenticeship programs, technical assistance for organizing job training, technical assistance for developing human resource capacity through knowledge transfer, and more," Ida said in a press release on December 9.

Ida hopes that Indonesia and Palestine will explore mutually beneficial cooperation as the two countries have many aspects in common.

This cooperation is also in line with Indonesia's support for Palestine in establishing economic growth and decent employment.
