Another Explosion Heard Near Bandung Astanaanyar Police Station

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Another explosion was heard near the Police Station of Astanaanyar, Bandung City on Wednesday morning at around 10:45, December 7. The sound startled reporters and people who were at the intersection of Astanaanyar and Pasir Koja Road.

Onlookers, in shock, were heard saying "Astaghfirullah, Allahuakbar," near the location where police lines were already put up. 

The police immediately told reporters and people to back away from the vicinity. 

Earlier in the morning at around 08:30 there was an explosion suspected to have been caused by a suicide bomb at the Astanaanyar Police Station.  

Initial reports suggested that members of the police were injured while a possible suspect has yet to be confirmed.  The police are still investigating the incident and securing the area.
