BMKG Says Jakarta to See Cloudy Skies Today; Rain, Strong Winds Also Possible

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasted that Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta will see cloudy weather throughout Thursday, November 17, 2022.
The agency also issued an early warning of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
“Be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta in the afternoon until late at night,” read the warning as quoted from the agency’s official page on Thursday.
In detail, the entire city area including the Thousand Islands will be covered in cloudy skies in the afternoon. The cloudy weather is expected to continue until the evening.
In the early hours of Friday, the agency predicted that cloudy skies will stay covering the province.
Jakarta's average temperature throughout the day is expected to be normal with a range of 23 to 31 degrees Celsius. While the humidity level will also be in the normal category between 70 percent to 100 percent.
