G20 Leaders Start Leaving Bali; Including Russia, South Korea

TEMPO.CO, Bali - The Group of Twenty or G20 Summit has entered its final day today, November 16, 2022. A number of state leaders and guests have left Bali albeit there has been no announcement yet whether this year's summit has concluded on a leadership declaration or communiqué.
“[Some have] returned [to their respective countries] last night (Tuesday),” said a spokesperson for Indonesia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, Teuku Faizasyah, in Bali on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Among those who have left Bali are Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, and FIFA chairman Gianni Infantino.
Additionally, US President Joe Biden was also said to be leaving Bali today. “It is reportedly so,” Faizasyah added.
Today's agenda
On the second day of the summit, Jokowi and the G20 leaders are scheduled to take part in a series of activities. The first agenda was visiting the mangrove forest in the Ngurah Rai Grand Forest Park at 09:30 WITA.
Biden and the G20 leaders took part in the forest tour. Tempo observed that Biden left the event location earlier than other heads of state. Besides, not all leaders were present, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Turkish President Erdogan.
The tour ended at 11:00 local time as they were leaving for The Apurva Kempinski Hotel to attend the last session of the G20 Summit.
