TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Three weeks before the G20 Summit kicks off, G20 delegates from various countries have started arriving through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The Airport Immigration Office head, Muhammad Tito Andrianto, said that In the last three months more than a hundred delegates have arrived in Indonesia through the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Checkpoint (TPI).
"The number of delegates who come per day is varied," he said on Wednesday, October 26.
According to Tito, the G20 delegation has started to enter Indonesia since the beginning of 2022.
"They arrived from G20 member countries, such as Japan, Brazil, South Korea and South Africa".
Tito said the focus of the implementation of the G20 in Bali. Therefore, the number of delegates coming through Soekarno-Hatta is certainly not as many as those who enter through the Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali.
It was recorded that 388 G20 delegates had arrived in Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta Airport between December 2021 and October 25, 2022. To welcome them, the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration has prepared special facilities, including a special visa-free counter for the delegates, as well as international journalists covering this global event.
